App Privacy Policy

In short: Greece Extra 5 Results has no accounts and no analytics. The numbers you save stay on your phone and are never sent to us. We do not receive any identifier that would let us recognise your device. The app shows advertising supplied by Google, and it can send you notifications - both are described below, and both are yours to switch off.

Last updated 1 October 2026. This policy covers the mobile app “Greece Extra 5 Results” for Android and iOS (shown on your home screen as “Greece Extra 5”).

1. What we do not collect

We do not ask for, and have no way to receive, your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or payment details. There is no sign-up and no account. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting service, and it never sends data about how you use it. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, because we do not hold any.

The app has nothing to do with betting. It does not take stakes, does not track winnings and has no connection to any bookmaker.

2. What stays on your phone

These are kept in the app's own private storage on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else:

Number sets you save. Checking them against a draw happens entirely on your phone: a result arrives, your phone compares it, and only your phone ever knows what your numbers are.
Your settings - whether you want Afternoon and Evening result notifications and match alerts, light or dark theme, and whether numbers are shown in ascending or drawn order.
A copy of recent results, so the app opens with something to show when you have no signal.
A record of which results have already alerted you, so you are not told the same thing twice.

Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also delete saved numbers inside the app at any time.

3. What leaves your phone, and to whom

a. Our servers

The app requests published draw results from our own results server. These requests only ask for lottery results - they carry nothing about you and nothing you have saved. Like any web server, ours records standard technical log entries (the IP address a request came from, the time, and what was requested). These exist to keep the service running and secure, are not used to build any profile, and are not combined with anything else to identify you.

b. OPAP

If our server cannot be reached, the app reads the same public results directly from OPAP's results service (api.opap.gr), the operator of the Greek draw. Those requests also carry nothing about you, but OPAP's servers receive your IP address as part of them, as with any website you visit.

c. Google - notifications

Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. So that Google can deliver a message to your device, Google issues your installation a push token, which Google holds - not us.

We send notifications to topics - broadcast channels such as “Greece Extra 5 Evening results” - and the app subscribes itself to the topics you have chosen. We never receive, request or store your device's token or any other device identifier, so we have no list of devices and no way to single yours out.

If you have saved numbers and match alerts are on, the app also subscribes to one more topic that carries each draw's result silently. Nothing is shown when one arrives: your phone checks it against your saved numbers and only tells you if all of them came up. Your numbers are never part of that exchange.

Notifications are optional. You can decline the permission when asked, switch them off inside the app, or turn them off in your phone's settings. The app works fully without them.

d. Google - advertising

The app is free and is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to limit how often the same ad is repeated, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, approximate location inferred from your IP address, and technical details such as your device model and operating system version. Google acts as an independent controller of that data; how it is handled is described in Google's privacy and terms. We do not receive this data - only aggregate earnings reports, which contain nothing about individuals.

4. Your choices about advertising

Consent. Where privacy law requires a choice about personalised advertising, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad and respects your answer. You can reopen it from the app's Settings screen.
iPhone. iOS asks separately for permission to track. Declining is respected, and everything in the app works exactly the same. You can change it under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings › Google › Ads.

Declining personalised ads does not restrict any feature; you will simply see ads that are less specific to you.

5. Children

The app publishes lottery results and statistics about past draws. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. How long anything is kept

What is on your device stays there until you remove it or uninstall the app. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service, then rotated and deleted. Data held by Google or OPAP is kept according to their own policies.

7. Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply to you, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice we hold no personal information about app users, so there will usually be nothing to return or erase; for anything Google holds, write to us and we will help you find the right route.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
